Your opportunity – Be part of the community
If you are caring, resourceful and passionate about patient centred care, a life-changing opportunity awaits.
The Royal Flying Doctor Service has opportunities for General Practitioners to join our Primary Health Team. Based in Broken Hill, you will work in our Clive Bishop Medical Practice caring for members of the local community and broader remote community network. Our General Practitioners do not work in retrieval or require Emergency Medicine. You will have the opportunity to solely focus on general practice work in a rural and remote setting.
Once you’ve got your feet on the ground, there are opportunities to further expand your skills in remote community clinics to those who show skills and interest in this work.
Clive Bishop Medical Centre
Opened its doors in 2014 with a vision to provide in-town medical treatment for our bush residents living on properties and in remote communities based outside of Broken Hill. From there, we’ve grown into a thriving practice servicing the Broken Hill township and surrounding areas. We are known for our high quality patient centred care. You will be joining a collegial environment, working beside a wonderful team who will welcome and support you. CBMC is a teaching practice, allowing you to share your knowledge through supervision of our Registrars.
Love where you live
If you haven’t lived here before, Broken Hill is a place full of heart with a strong community of renowned artists, a vibrant culture, and world-class film credentials. An outback community with a history of courageous and diverse people who are proud of their origins and ready to welcome you with open arms.
