Description

RFDS (Queensland Section) is seeking a Business System Administrator to support the implementation of a new Human Resource Information System (HRIS). This project is a key component of our digital transformation program and future-ready workforce strategy. The Digital and Technology Team is looking for a skilled administrator with experience implementing and supporting HRIS solutions and who is passionate about transforming employee experiences.
  
Initially you will be actively involved as a project team member to assist with delivering the new Payroll, WFM, Recruitment, Learning development and Talent solutions. As the Business Systems Administrator, you will then provide post implementation technical support, troubleshooting (including Root Cause Analysis), and improving end-user experience. In addition, you will:

• Collaborate with Project and HR managers to determine HRIS needs
• Assist with analysing and optimising new HRIS processes, integrating these into the new software, and performing diagnostic tests
• Develop test scenarios to validate new processes
• Deliver improved ways of working for end users and achieve planned business benefits
• Coordinate and facilitate user training including ongoing technical support
• Manage user accounts, access, and update relevant information
• Analyse HRIS performance metrics and resolve application issues
• Be the system domain expert for the new HRIS platform

  
This is a maximum-term, full-time role based in Brisbane. The initial project and contract will run for 12 months however, the right candidate can grow the role into an ongoing support function for the business. The RFDS Digital & Technology Team offers hybrid working arrangements with a mixture of home and office work.
  
Who are we looking for?

We're looking for a system administrator who is a team player, who communicates openly and confidentially and eager to take ownership of a system, even before its delivered. In addition, you will have formal qualifications in Information Technology or a closely related field and you will demonstrate:

• Extensive experience in HRIS system administration with experience in payroll, workforce management and recruitment systems
• Advanced proficiency in database management and security, as well as running SQL queries
• Extensive experience in analysing HRIS performance metrics and improving processes
• Experience in performing diagnostic tests and audits, as well as documenting processes
• Exceptional ability to communicate, collaborate, provide technical support, and train staff
• Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously
• Experience using Ceridian- Dayforce (Desirable)
• Project Delivery experience (Desirable)
