Description

The Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia South Eastern Section provides comprehensive health services to rural and remote communities in far west NSW, SA and QLD. 

We’re currently searching for an additional Nurse to join us in Wanaaring at one of our Primary Health Clinics to support our existing staff. This is a truly unique role and one you will be telling friends and family about for years to come. 980KM from Sydney and 180KM from Bourke this is what Flying Doctor is all about. 

Who are we looking for? 
If you're a Registered Nurse and looking for a change we would love to hear from you. We're open to 2-3 days per week and flexible on what days. You will be required to stay overnight in Wanaaring however we will provide accommodation. 

What’s in it for you?  
You will become the right hand to our Primary Health Nurse and become an integral part of the community and this role will allow you to gain experience and exposure that you would never have exposure to in a larger town or city.  

Essential criteria: 

  • Genuine passion and interest in Primary Health 
  • Able to obtain a NSW Working With Children Check and National Police Check 
  • Evidence of full COVID19 Vaccinations
