The eLearning Developer is responsible for design, development and implementation of eLearning and digital learning solutions for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Queensland Section. This is a Full-Time position with the People and Culture team, based in Brisbane and located at the International Airport. Flexible work arrangements are available for this role.
Key responsibilities   

  • Create, design and deploy online learning courses and modules using specialist eLearning software Articulate 360 predominantly with Storyline development
  • Establish enhanced learning outcomes through customised interactivity produced with digital media
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to design learning content and innovatively create engaging eLearning solutions
  • Support the team in delivery of broader Organisational Development programs
Who we are looking for?
To be successful in this role you will possess the following:
  • 2-3 years demonstrated advanced experience in volume development of eLearning products using Articulate Storyline
  • Proficiency in using technologies for learning production, digital and multi-media products, creative design work and corporate documentation
  • Instructional design skills to engage adult learning principles to achieve learning outcomes and needs
  • Ability to develop positive relationships with subject matter experts
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and navigate competing priorities
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small multi skilled and generalist team and contribute across other aspects of People and Culture when required

About the RFDS (Queensland Section)

The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) is one of the largest and most comprehensive aeromedical organisations in the world. In Queensland, the RFDS employs approximately, 450 people ranging from pilots, doctors, nurses, engineers, allied health professionals, and a variety of administration and support services roles. The Corporate Office is located at the Brisbane International Airport, and RFDS operates from nine operational bases located in Brisbane, Cairns, Townsville, Rockhampton, Bundaberg, Charleville, Mount Isa, Longreach and Roma.

The RFDS also delivers a broad range of essential health care services to rural and remote communities, as well as emergency retrieval services.
