The Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) (RFDS) has a newly created role to support the Recruitment and Advisory team. This is a growth opportunity for a skilled coordinator to advance and enhance their skillset helping them to prepare for the next steps in their HR career. This role will give you valuable exposure to varied processes across different HR functions and provide you with ongoing upskilling opportunities. 

The People and Culture Coordinator will join us in a full-time capacity for a 12 month contract located at the Brisbane Airport. We offer a flexible work environment with working from home options available.

About the role

Reporting to the People and Culture Operations Manager, the People and Culture Coordinator will provide recruitment support as well as provide generalist P&C support. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting recruitment services
  • Providing generalist HR support
  • Supporting employee lifecycle activities
  • Coordinating HR-related systems and files

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • 1-3 years experience in a similar role
  • Proficient computer skills using an ATS and HRIS and the Microsoft suite
  • Minimum Diploma in a relevant study area
  • Highly organised with the ability to work productively whilst navigating competing priorities
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to develop trusted relationships at all levels
