Description
Join the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) (RFDS) in the role of Workplace Relations Analyst, where you’ll play an important part in supporting the Workforce Relations team by providing clear, high quality industrial relations insights, analysis, and reporting.
In this role, you’ll develop modelling, entitlement analysis, and workforce insights that help guide strategy, scenario planning, negotiation support, and industrial compliance. You’ll also interpret enterprise agreements, awards, and industrial instruments, ensuring entitlements and conditions are accurately understood, while working closely with teams across the organisation to align workforce initiatives and enterprise bargaining activities with operational needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare workforce and financial modelling
- Analyse enterprise agreements, awards and industrial instruments
- Develop and maintain current comparative analysis reports and insights
- Prepare briefing materials, costings and analytical insights to support bargaining
- Provide reporting on key industrial and workforce issues
- Work collaboratively across departments
- Support the implementation of new workforce initiatives
This role is a full-time position that will commence on an initial 2 year contract.

- Qualifications in the field of business, finance, data analytics or Industrial Relations
- High level numerical reasoning and comfort working with complex datasets
- Proficiency using Excel for modelling, analysis and scenario planning
- Ability to prepare clear reports and insights to support decision-making
- Ability to review rosters, staffing patterns and workforce utilisation
- Strong attention to detail when reviewing data, developing reports and providing insights
- Strong written communication skills when preparing reports, briefings and material
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams
