We are currently seeking a Storeperson to work in the Engineering team of our Aviation Department on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting to the Senior Inventory Controller, the position is required to carry out storeperson duties in order to maintain an effective supply distribution system.

About you


At least 2 years' experience in a fast-paced Storeperson position
Strong computer literacy skills and fluent with Microsoft Suites
Effective communication skills, including written and verbal, and experience with liaising with colleagues to problem solve situations
A high level of time management, with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
C Class Drivers Licence
Forklift Drivers Licence (desirable)
Previous experience with Aviation or Mining Stores would be held in high regard

About the role

Receipting and dispatching of aircraft spares and components
Raising purchase orders for aircraft spare parts and consumables
Raising internal work packs
Assisting with stock take and cycle counts
Entering data into computer system
Liaising with RFDS bases on stock level requirement
Processing parts requisitions for Engineers
Liaising with suppliers
Performing general housekeeping duties

The mission of the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Western Operations) is to provide excellence in aeromedical and primary health care across Western Australia. Every member of the RFDS WO team contributes to that mission and living our values of showing respect, demonstrating fairness, utilising diversity and being safe. Its 24/7 operations centre at Jandakot Airport coordinates complex logistics for patient retrievals and clinics across the State.
