You can visit the RFDS in Queensland in Mount Isa and Charleville.
RFDS Mount Isa Visitors Centre
The RFDS Mount Isa Base operates a Visitors Centre which offers self guided tours incorporating a museum, aircraft display and video presentation. The Centre also operates the Outback Shop - a retail shop that sells an extensive range of quality RFDS merchandise and memorabilia.
Opening hours
Open Monday to Friday - 9.30am to 4.30pm
Closed on weekends, public and school holidays.
Cost: Donation suggested
There are no preorganised tours as the Centre is fully automated.

RFDS Charleville Visitors Centre
View a 15 minute film "A day in the life of a Flying Doctor" based on the RFDS showing details of the clinics and medical evacuations.
Wander through the museum with its collection of historical and modern memorabilia. The Outback Shop has a great range of quality RFDS gifts and souvenirs.
