Santos Ltd

Under contract to Santos Ltd the SE Section of the Flying Doctors provides health services to over 1,200 Santos employees working in the Oil and Gas Fields at Moomba, South Australia and Ballera on the Queensland border.

As part of this contract, we also offer medical services to residents living on the surrounding homesteads and remote stations.

Six Clinical Nurse Specialists and Flight Nurses divide their time between Moomba and Ballera providing comprehensive medical care to an area larger than Tasmania.

Surplus funds generated by this contract are applied to sustaining and enhancing our ongoing medical services in the Outback.
