The RFDS Spirit of the West Awards were created in 2010 in partnership with Chevron Australia, who has contributed $1 million over four years to the establishment of the awards.
The awards program helps build the fundraising capacity of the RFDS and helps build strong and lasting relationships with communities. These awards would not be possible without the generous investment and unstinting support of Chevron Australia.
The company’s foresight and community spirit will help provide a welcome boost to RFDS fundraising, which will flow to provide benefits to patients in the form of new health services, advances in medical equipment and support for aviation, now and into the future.
