RFDS and Corporate Support
As a charity, the RFDS relies heavily on the generosity of companies to continue our vital medical work in remote and rural Australia. A link with the Flying Doctor is a link to the people who inhabit, work or travel in the vast Australian outback.
In supporting the RFDS, your company can also become part of a great Australian tradition which began with our first flight in 1928 and continues today to provide a ‘Mantle of Safety’ to those who need access to emergency and primary medical care.
You can demonstrate your corporate social responsibility by supporting the RFDS nationwide as shown in following examples:
- introduce a Workplace Giving program
- promote the RFDS to your clients with flyers in your mailings
- donate a percentage of your profits
- provide your goods or services free of charge
- fund a needed piece of medical or aircraft equipment
- help us expand our current services by funding a new initiative
- by the RFDS a new aircraft
