Membership as a gift

Why not give the perfect gift to a loved one and purchase RFDS membership in their name.

Follow the simple steps below to give a gift that saves lives:

1.) Choose your level of membership from the below options

Flying Doctor Society
For $130 dollars annually (or $12 each month), you can become a member of The Flying Doctor Society
You will receive a wings badge; our newsletter mailings, invitations to Open Days, listing in our Annual Report and a personal medical record card.

Pilot Wing
For $250 dollars annually (or $22 each month), you can join our Pilot Wing
You will receive a pen and key ring; our newsletter mailings, invitations to Open Days, listing in our Annual Report, personal medical record cards for family and friends and invitations to special RFDS events.

Custodian of the Mantle of Safety
For $750 dollars annually (or $66 each month), you can become a Custodian of the Mantle of Safety
You will receive an RFDS paperweight; our newsletter mailings, invitations to Open Days, listing in our Annual Report, personal medical record cards for family and friends, a listing in the Annual Report, a copy of the Annual Report and invitations to special RFDS events including the Annual General Meeting.

Friend of the Royal Fying Doctor
For $10,000 dollars ($2000 per year for five years), you can become a Friend of the Royal Flying Doctor
You will receive our newsletter mailings, invitations to Open Days, listing in our Annual Report, personal medical record cards for family and friends, a listing in the Annual Report, a copy of the Annual Report and invitations to special RFDS events including the Annual General Meeting.

2.) Fill out our online membership donation form and make your payment via credit card or call our office on

The recipient of your gift will receive a card and membership package informing them of your donation of membership in their name. You will receive an online receipt of your donation or a receipt by post if you donate over the phone.

If you wish to receive the card and membership package yourself so that you can give it to the recepient in person please call our office on 02 9941 8888 and this can be easily arranged.
