Become a Supporter of the RFDS Central Operations
Regular Giving
RFDS Central Operations encourage supporters to arrange a regular donation to the RFDS. It’s quick and easy. Regular giving has a double benefit - our administration and postage costs are reduced because we only produce and post you one annual receipt (at the end of the financial year) and a regular giving arrangement means there is no need for you to have to remember to make further donations. Once it’s done, it’s done! You can nominate any size of regular donation - and the frequency. Regular donations can be made using your credit card, or you can authorise us to draw on your nominated bank account by direct debit.
Join an Auxiliary or Support Group
RFDS Central Operations Auxiliaries and Support Groups are volunteer committees in the community who work tirelessly to raise vital funds for the RFDS. There is a lot of ‘fun’ in fundraising, and people join the groups for many different reasons. They form valuable friendships with each other and remain in the groups for many years.

Join the RFDS Wings Program
Each year the RFDS has to raise funds to replace aircraft; the vital lifeline to those in need. It is essential that we act now to ensure the future of the RFDS in Queensland is secure. A regular giving program, such as this, enables us to plan for future aircraft purchases and decreases our administration costs. As a valued Wings member you will be the backbone of our service and become part of an important community to support our growth and sustainability. From as little as $12 per month, you can feel proud knowing that 24 hours a day, everyday of the year, you are helping save lives across Queensland. Your monthly donation will be deducted as close to the first of the month as possible. We will send you a tax deductible receipt at the end of the financial year.
Join an Auxiliary in Queensland
The Royal Flying Doctor Service is grateful for the assistance of its Auxiliaries across Queensland.
The Auxiliaries are closely affiliated with the RFDS and often hold activities and events to help raise funds for the Service as well as support RFDS Spirit of Queensland Award entrants.

Become a Supporter of the RFDS South Eastern Section
If you would like to support the work of the RFDS in New South Wales then you may like to consider joining their membership program.
Flying Doctor Society
For $130 annually (or $12 each month), you can become a member of The Flying Doctor Society. You will receive our newsletter mailings, invitations to Open Days, listing in and copy of our Annual Report and a personal medical record card.
Pilot Wing
For $250 annually (or $22 each month), you can join our Pilot Wing
You will receive our newsletter mailings, invitations to Open Days, listing in and copy of our Annual Report, personal medical record cards for family and friends and invitations to special RFDS events.
Custodian of the Mantle of Safety
For $750 annually (or $66 each month), you can become a Custodian of the Mantle of Safety
You will receive our newsletter mailings, invitations to Open Days, listing in and copy of our Annual Report, personal medical record cards for family and friends and invitations to special RFDS events including the Annual General Meeting.
Friend of the Royal Flying Doctor
For $10,000 ($2000 per year for five years), you can become a Friend of the Royal Flying Doctor
You will receive their newsletter mailings, invitations to Open Days, listing in and copy of our Annual Report, personal medical record cards for family and friends, and invitations to special RFDS events including the Annual General Meeting.

Become a Supporter of the RFDS Tasmania Section
In Tasmania the RFDS: provides over 900 patient transfers and emergency retrievals per year by providing aircraft and pilots under contract to the Tasmanian Air Ambulance Service; supports the delivery of primary healthcare and dental services in rural areas including the Bass Strait Islands supplies emergency medical chests to remote areas of the state; funds additional and necessary medical equipment to support the Service; supports education and training of new health professionals through a Scholarship Scheme and owns and maintains the Aeromedical Base and Hangar at Launceston Airport There are many ways in which you, your workplace, community group or school can support the Flying Doctor Tasmanian Section. By raising both money and awareness of the work that the RFDS does, you are helping to save lives and to improve the health outcomes of all Tasmanians. Wherever you are in the state you never know if you or someone close to you may require the services of the Flying Doctor.

Become a Supporter of the RFDS Victorian Section
To support the incredible work carried out by the Royal Flying Doctor Service we invite you to join the Flying 1000.
What is Flying 1000? Flying 1000 is a programme which allows you to support the RFDS on a regular basis. By joining the Flying 1000 you will directly support one of the Royal Flying Doctor Service’s aircraft and crew.
For as little as $20 per month you can join this exciting program.

Supporters who choose to join a convenient, regular giving program help us to carry out our life-saving, life-changing work. Regular giving provides you with the means to spread your payments over time and provides the RFDS with the security of a steady income stream. This ongoing support enables us to plan for the future while maintaining our existing services.
By giving the RFDS the authority to deduct an agreed amount from your credit card each month, you can become a valued, long-term supporter and need no longer write cheques, fill out forms, send emails or make phone calls.
