Karen Croker

Principal Clinical Advisor Aeromedical & Critical Care, RFDS Qld

Karen Croker is currently working as Principal Clinical Advisor for Aeromedical and Critical Care Services with the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Qld Section). In this statewide role, she undertakes strategic initiatives and programs across the Aeromedical and Critical Care Services such as clinical governance, incident and risk management and health information.

Prior to her current role with RFDS, Karen had been involved in Emergency nursing for the last 18 years. She has worked as RN, CN, Rural Clinical Educator for Southern Zone - Cunningham Centre Rural Health Training Unit, NUM of Gympie ED and as NUM of Nambour ED. Karen was the first nurse to hold the position of Co Chair then Chair of a Clinical Network in QLD - Central Area Emergency Network. She holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Nursing); Masters of Emergency Nursing; Graduate Certificate in Health Management. Karen has also previously been an instructor for TNCC, ENPC, PHTLS and ALS.
