Jason Coventry

Medical Officer, RFDS Qld

Jason qualified as a dentist in 1993 from Leeds Dental Institute UK. He then worked in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for 4 years before returning to medical school in Sheffield UK and graduating in 2002.

Post graduation he worked primarily in ED and Anaesthetics before two years with British Antarctic Survey Medical Unit incorporating an 18 month deployment as a medical officer for a British research station on the Antarctica peninsular. Since his return, he has been a Medical Officer with RFDS Qld - Mt Isa base for almost two years.

Jason holds current instructor status in Advanced Life Support, Major Incident Medical Management and Support and is studying for both his FACRRM and Masters of Remote Health Care.
