Glenn McKay has been involved with multiple aeromedical organisations having worked as a doctor in the prehospital environment for the military, ski patrols, disaster response teams, and with rotary and fixed wing aeromedical services. Glenn has completed postgraduate training in aeromedical retrieval and transport through the University of Otago School of Aviation Medicine and developed Medical Rescue's practical aeromedical training courses delivered in partnership with the Westpac rescue helicopters in Queensland.
His interest is in seeing the development of aeromedical standards to ensure that prehospital and retrieval medicine is delivered to the highest level and is consistent in service delivery, safety and clinical governance across Australasia.
Personal interests include spending time with his young family and boating on the Gold Coast.
