Women’s Health - South Eastern Section
The Rural Women’s GP Service has been operating since May 2000 in South Eastern Section. Within the SE section, approximately 28 female GPs annually treat nearly 5,000 country women at over 37 clinics conducted in towns across NSW, Victoria and Tasmania. These female doctors also run health education sessions in the local townships covering various women’s health issues.
