Nursing Services

RFDS employs over 120 full-time and 40 part-time nurses across its four operating sections and nurses play an important role in RFDS emergency and clinic services.

In relation to clinic services, nurses have a variety of roles which differ between sections. In some sections, nurses have a key role in the provision of child and maternal health services. In other sections, nurses have a more general primary health care role with involvement in supporting General Practice services and health promotion
