Kidney health events
Kidney Health Australia hosts a number of events during Kidney Health Week and throughout the year which focus on raising awareness of kidney disease and providing information and education to the general public and those affected by kidney disease.
Commencing on Sunday 23 May 2010 Kidney Health Week is an initiative that highlights the importance of early detection, better management and prevention of kidney disease in the Australian community. Kidney Health Week is about encouraging all Australians to live a healthy lifestyle and have a regular kidney health check, particularly for people in ‘at risk’ groups. The campaign theme for 2010 is “Are you at risk of kidney disease?”
