Midwifery Scholarship Program
The RFDS (Qld Section) offers scholarships to nurses who would like to work for the RFDS but do not have one of the areas of speciality required.
The funds awarded are intended to offer financial assistance towards paying for a specifically identified course, most often in Midwifery, but also can be in offered for other relevant qualifications such as Child and Family Health.
The successful applicant will be required to complete the specified course and then work for a minimum of one year at any base within the RFDS (Qld Section).
Application Dates
Expressions of interested are invited in July each year for the following year.
