Ergon Energy
Ergon Energy has been a principal sponsor of the RFDS since 1999. It was in Mount Isa ten years ago that Ergon Energy and the RFDS, both operating under a charter to serve regional and rural Queenslanders, announced a major sponsorship deal that would allow Ergon Energy’s customers to make donations to the Royal Flying Doctor Service through their electricity bills.
Ten years on and the partnership has seen more than three and a half million dollars raised to help the RFDS provide emergency and routine medical care services throughout Queensland. The money has been used to assist in our aircraft replacement program and to update medical equipment.
Many thanks to Ergon Energy and their customers for their continued support. We look forward to another ten years together!

In recognition of the important role the RFDS plays for those who desperately need Brisbane’s medical expertise, on 1 November 2009, Brisbane Airport signed on as a principal sponsor for the RFDS in Queensland.
Brisbane Airport has been a destination for hundreds of thousands of RFDS flights and since 1995 has been home to the RFDS Queensland Head Office. While there has always been a close working relationship between Brisbane Airport and the RFDS this partnership takes the relationship to a new and exciting level.
The partnership will contribute around half a million dollars to the RFDS over the initial two years of the agreement.

QCoal
For many years, geologist and Managing Director of QCoal, Chris Wallin, has personally supported the RFDS. In 2010, Chris has taken his support to a new level by committing his company, QCoal, to a principal sponsorship for an initial three year period.
QCoal runs a fully operational mine, namely the Sonoma mine in Collinsville. The Sonoma mine and the RFDS also share a very close local connection, with the mine sitting right beside the Collinsville airstrip where the RFDS regularly lands to transport local residents with urgent medical needs to hospitals such as Townsville or Rockhampton.
The RFDS would like to thank Chris and QCoal for supporting our work and we look forward to making you proud of your connection.

Funding Partners
The Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) relies on the generosity of individuals, corporations, schools, and community groups across Queensland to help make up the shortfall in funding. This support ensures the Service can continue its commitment of providing its many services, including 24 hour emergency care and treatment for those in need. Without the generosity and support of individuals, community groups and organisations across the State, those living and working in regional, rural and remote Queensland would not have the lifeline they have come to depend upon. We thank you. A gracious thank you is extended to those who assist us financially along with our dedicated RFDS Auxiliaries and support groups for their continuing contributions.
The RFDS acknowledges with gratitude the financial support of the State Government through Queensland Health and the Federal Government.
