Professor Bruce RobinsonProfessor Bruce Robinson

Dean of Faculty of Medicine - University of Sydney. Professor Robinson’s association with the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) dates back to the early 1990’s when he was one of numerous medical professionals flown by the RFDS to remote areas of northern NSW. Since then, the RFDS has partnered with the Faculty of Medicine’s Poche Centre for Indigenous Health and also developed a close working relationship with the University of Sydney’s Department of Rural Health in Broken Hill and the School of Rural Health in Dubbo.

Having served as a Partner, National Director, and Practice Leader of law firm Blake Dawson and been listed as a Leading Legal Practitioner in various Australian and international directories, Elizabeth retired from the Blake Dawson partnership on September 30 2009 in order to pursue opportunities as a non executive director. She continues her association with Blake Dawson as a Consultant to the firm.

Elizabeth is a member of the Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (AUASB) and served for 10 years as an appointed public member of the Australian Press Council, as a director of the Communications and Media Law Centre, was a founding member of the Australian Compliance Institute and served on the Council of Ravenswood School.
